It was very valuable to see the breadth of suppliers across leather goods, footwear, knitwear and accessories in one place, providing a great opportunity to better understand the capabilities and regional expertise of Italian manufacturers, and while the exhibition offered a strong overview of ready made collections, it would also be interesting in future editions to highlight more examples of custom development or collaborations with international brands to further showcase the full capabilities of Italian manufacturers.
We do not currently carry Italian brands in our store, however we regularly work with Italian textile manufacturers including Cangioli and Rossoforte for fabric sourcing and greatly value the quality and expertise of Italian mills, and as we expand into footwear and bags we will look to explore this further in the coming seasons.
Yes, we had several exciting conversations during the exhibition. We have started discussions with: • FG Italia (leather apparel) • Boldrini Selleria (leather bags) • Pascucci and Boemos (footwear) • Novella 1979 (outerwear) • Tirabasso (hats) • Belts+ Stefano Piazza (leather accessories) We are currently exploring sampling opportunities with a few of these partners and look forward to continuing the conversations.
